Giving Back. Connecting Community. It’s what we do.
SHOPPERS GIVE BACK!
Cradle to College was designed to give back, and we ask our shoppers to join that effort. CTC never charges admission, but we do ask that our shoppers bring canned goods to donate to South Lake Community Ministries, Home of Buses ‘n Backpacks.
CONSIGNORS GIVE BACK!
All consignors, when entering inventory, have an option to check a box to donate any unsold items. You can be a blessing by cleaning out the kids clutter. All unsold items, which are marked for DONATION, will be donated to Salvation Army of Lake and Sumter Counties, as well as Salvation Army Orlando Area Command. These goods will be divided among their program participants, as well as utilized for sale in their Central Florida Thrift Stores with the funds benefitting their various programs.
Consign both cities and allow CTC to transport your unsold Leesburg items to the Orlando location. For more info, click here.
GO GREEN WITH REUSABLE TOTE BAGS!
A limited amount of Tote Bags will be provided to the first 100 check-outs (in our LEESBURG LOCATION ONLY), thanks to our friends at Modern Orthodontics.
Shoppers may borrow our BIG BLUE BAGS to use while you shop. Shoppers will not be permitted to take those bags to their vehicles. We encourage you to bring your own reusable shopping bags.
COMMUNITY GIVES BACK!
It takes over 3,000 man-hours to pull off Cradle to College events! We could never do what we do without our awesome CTC CREW (Volunteers) and the CTC STAFF Meal Partner Flippers Pizzeria!
Thank you so much CTC! We at Varustaa are so thankful for your support and for collecting hygiene items that we can take to the abused and impoverished of Honduras.” – Michelle Tedder, Co-Founder, Varustaa
This event has helped my family so much. My son just turned one and barely had anything, now he has so many toys he doesn’t know what to do! I am beyond thankful for everything that this sale has done. I’ve been all three times and I plan on being there every time after because this sale is not only a huge help but the biggest blessing a single mother could ask for.” – J.L., Teen Parent, ADAPT
